From the Bride:
Justin and I have been together for 6 years. When we met he had a beautiful 3 year old little girl, Macie, who is now 9. The day we met I was working in a small town cafe and he and his buddies came in for lunch that day. That was the beginning our path to where we are now. We now have a beautiful 4 year old daughter, Cashlyn. Justin and I didn’t want to get married just because we were having a baby. We decided to wait until we felt it was time. We have built a beautiful life together that started with our beautiful daughters, then bought a beautiful home on 110 acres 2 years ago. That's when we decided that this is where we wanted to raise our family and raise a family as Mr. and Mrs. Hall. So one day we walked out to the waterfall that’s on our property and Justin surprised me by asking me to marry him. That was so special to me because how much our home means to us. Now we will raise our family and live out our lives as Mr and Mrs Hall there.
When I received the message from Summer inquiring about me photographing her wedding and hearing why she wanted me photograph it, I was floored. I was so honored and humble by her response. Also as I got to know Summer during this process, I realized more and more she was definitely the bride for me. Summer has a loving and sweet soul that you can't help to love. As she talked about Justin, you immediately knew and felt the love she had for him. You knew this was a marriage that was meant to be and there was time put into this relationship like no other.
Summer told me it's going to be a small intimate beach wedding with just a few people. I love those types of weddings too. When I walked into the beach house, Summer and Justin's family treated me like I was their kin as well. I watched and talked college football with the men. I talked about my girlish figure with Grandma. Grandma told me on many occasions not to be shy and fix a plate. She tried to feed me a lot! With a family like this and a beautiful couple like Summer and Justin, you couldn't help but to simply enjoy yourself. Summer and Justin were so in love and you could feel and see it. And that's rare to see when a couple has been together so long. I can't thank Summer and Justin enough for trusting me to document their union and bringing me back to shores of Myrtle Beach. I wish you guys the absolute best. And Justin you have your hands full with those gorgeous girls of yours. Invest in a Louisville Slugger for the future. Love you guys!
