Destination Wedding

OBX Wedding Photographer | Destination Wedding | Nags Head Beach | Jessica & Chuck

I have to say it was an absolute pleasure getting to know Jessica and Chuck. From photographing their engagement session at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton, IN to their beautiful beach house wedding at the Soul Surfer in Nags Head, NC, the experience was amazing. Jess and Chuck were just a good down to earth couple, so it made this even more enjoyable. Jess was a little stressed out just like any bride would be if there was a call for rain on the day of your beach wedding and Chuck was just as cool and calm as ever. But lo and behold the rain let up that morning and made for a beautiful sun-filled day in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Jess and Chuck celebrated this wedding surrounded by loving friends and family, and partied the night away. What a beautiful day it made for a wedding celebration.

Jess and Chuck we THANK YOU for trusting and allowing us to document a new chapter in your lives.

Until next time...

Indiana Engagement Photographer | Chesterton, IN | Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve | Engagement Session | Jessica & Chuck

So let me tell you about this session. This engagement session took me to nice little town in Chesterton Indiana, just outside of Valparaiso, IN. If you don't know where Valpo is located, it's about an hour southeast of the Windy City Chicago. This was one of the best sessions I've had to date.  Jess and Chuck were amazing, fun loving and so laid back. It was an honor to photograph their engagement session and I can't wait to document their wedding!

Jess and Chuck decided to have their session at the Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton Indiana.  All I can say is that they pick an absolute gem of a location.  As you walk around, you are literally one with nature.  The beauty of this place is breathtaking.  Everything was so right about this location...except for the mosquitos.  They were basically trying to carry us away during the session; however, it made for a very fun and interesting time and some hilarious pics.

I can't say enough about Jess and Chuck but I have to keep this short. I will tell you this...you can see the love they have for each other, the respect they have for each other and how they simply adore one another through out the images.  It's amazing to see the big fun they have in their little moments throughout this e-session. Jess really wanted me to capture "them" and not the posey posey type of things.  They allowed me to put them in situations and then I just let them be Jess and Chuck. It was amazing to see the interaction. So enough telling you about it, let the images show you.

From the funny faces, to fighting mosquitos and through the intimate times throughout your session, you guys were AMAZING and I truly want to THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of something so special.  Until next time...

Devon & Austin Myrtle Beach Train Depot Wedding

Wedding photography is one of those professions that makes you realize how special life can be. Wedding photography allows a wedding photographer to capture images that a couple can love and look back on for years and years to come. It allows you to freeze in time two individuals love and dedication to each other... and a simple & unconditional love at that.

This wedding provided that same feeling that was just described above.  Devon and Austin's love for each other manifested into something beautiful on their wedding day. Even though they kept their wedding simple and to the point, their love for each absolutely glowed throughout the day and the Myrtle Beach Train Depot provided the perfect background. We would like to say congratulations and also say thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!
