Well here it is...my first wedding. I am not going to lie to you, I was so nervous and stressed but I maintained my composure and did what I had and needed to do. For this wedding I had to travel to the lovely state of Indiana in the town of West Lafayette, home of the Purdue University Boilermakers. In this town there lies a great 4-H campground call Ross Camp. This was the venue where I was going to document and capture the images of the future Sweets!! Kati a 4-H director in Indiana and Zacc a farmer and firefighter were the lovely couple that I had the honor of being their wedding photographer for my first wedding.
Kati was one of those brides that actually gave me confidence and reaffirming me that I was going to do her day well and I loved her for that. Her confidence in me kept me grounded and relaxed. She also has to be one of the most energetic individuals known to man. She was the human version of the Energizer Bunny! You could simply tell she was ready for that next step in her life. She absolutely glowed and smiled every second of the day. She was such an amazing and beautiful bride.
Kati and Zacc's wedding party was awesome and outgoing which made my day go so much smoother. The Groomsmen and Bridesmaids were amazing and providing incredible fun throughout the day. And they knew how to party. Thanks to those guys for being themselves and allowing me to capture those moments.
Kati and Zacc, the Groomsmen, the Bridesmaids all made me feel relaxed throughout the day. However there were two ladies that I also would like to thank. Sharon Hutchison and Deb Hiatt made my crew and I feel welcomed and they made sure we were taking care of. Those two ladies made me realize why I love doing this and they made it easier for me to capture the moments through out this very special day for Kati and Zacc. Thank you Sharon and Deb for the hospitality!
This wedding was amazing and fun from the girls getting ready to one of the groomsmen putting the groom in a headlock to the crazy and fun loving poses the bride did with her bridesmaids to the amazing dancing at the reception and the singing to the bride by the barbershop quartet. What a day, what an amazing day!!! Now that's how you kick off a new career!!! I know Kati and Zacc thanked me for being their photographer, but I would like to say THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of your special, loving and glorious day!!
Also big thanks goes out to Herson Maya and Karla Davis for all your help!!
